Several years ago YoungMoms ministry partnered with Save a Life International to open up Crisis Pregnancy Centers where young moms can receive full support throughout their pregnancy: counseling, professional health care, and, if requested, adoption assistance.
Once the baby is born, and during the first critical months of the baby’s life, YoungMoms steps in, offering spiritual mentoring, baby care classes, babysitting, and short retreats, allowing these young women to grow in Christ and provide for their children.
Since the war with Russia began, the YoungMoms ministry experienced a change. Clubs and staff from the eastern part of the country moved to the safer west, where they also started serving refugee moms who left their husbands to fight. A new program was also launched serving young girls who became victims of sexual abuse due to the war.

Like the Young Life model, where we constantly focus on raising the next generation of leaders, YoungMoms in Ukraine has also been raising its next generation of mom-leaders. The ministry is run by the ‘graduated’ moms, who once walked the same path, and who can passionately share the love of Jesus with these young mothers.
How you can help
There is much work to be done.
This ministry has many needs. Financial support is always welcome because our staff can direct it toward much-needed baby supplies like diapers, wipes, baby clothes, cribs, etc. Club space, social workers, and mental health workers are also desperately needed to provide a safe haven for these women and help them keep going.
